Dear MissionChief community,
Have you ever seen a barn fire in the middle of a big city? Or a skyscraper fire in a small village? The kinds of missions you encounter in an urban area can differ quite a lot from those in rural areas. There are also typically fewer fire stations in less densely populated areas. π¨
To reflect this, we have introduced a system that allows you to control whether a fire station can receive rural or urban missions. All fire missions are either flagged as rural, urban, or both. You can now assign two new types of specializations to your fire stations: rural and urban.πποΈ
If you have the rural specialization set to active, the fire station will only generate rural missions. If you have the urban specialization set to active, it will only generate urban missions. Fire stations that donβt have either specialization active can generate all types of missions, depending on the extensions they have.π
Additionally, the radius within which missions are generated is larger if the rural specialization is active.
We hope you like the new update. Are you going to specialize your stations? Take a look at the missionsβdo you agree with the labeling as rural or urban? Let us know in the comments! βπ½
To celebrate the new specializations, we have activated 24 hours of double credits. βΌοΈ
