New Mission: Person suffers diabetic shock

Dear MissionChief community,

🚨 A diabetic shock happens when blood sugar levels drop dangerously low, causing the body and brain to struggle without enough glucose. Early signs include shaking, sweating, confusion, and weakness. Without quick treatment, symptoms can worsen, leading to seizures or unconsciousness.

🧃 If the person is still conscious and able to swallow, fast-acting sugar sources—such as juice, candy, or glucose tablets—can help raise blood sugar.

🚑 If the person is unconscious or unable to swallow safely, emergency medical services should be contacted immediately. Paramedics can administer glucose through an injection or IV to stabilize the condition. Rapid intervention is critical to prevent serious complications or death.
