Push notifications help you keep up with what’s happening in the game and in your alliance. That’s why we introduced the option to get a push notification whenever someone posts a new message in your alliance chat.
If your alliance chat is busy, those notifications can add up quickly. Some of you asked for a way to get notified only when a message is directed at you, so we’ve added a new setting to the miscellaneous tab of the settings (only available in the mobile app).
When you turn on “Limit alliance chat push notifications to @ mentions”, you’ll only get an alliance chat push notification when a message mentions you by username or includes @all. To mention a specific player, type @ followed by their username. To mention everyone in your alliance, use @all.
