A blur of motion tears through the forest—rubber shrieking against rock, adrenaline screaming in every vein. 
Then, out of nowhere, a tree looms like a wall of iron. There’s no time to swerve. A split-second gasp—too late. The rider slams into the trunk with bone-jarring force, the sound of impact echoing through the woods like a gunshot. 
The bike sails off alone, crumpling in the dirt, while the body drops like a ragdoll, limp and broken at the tree’s base. The forest holds its breath. Then, a low moan. 
Blood, bruises, shattered gear. Somewhere in the chaos, a desperate call for help cuts through the silence—raw, urgent.
The rescue clock is ticking.
